California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 4 — Obligations Arising from Particular Transactions, Title 14 — Lien, Chapter 2d — Vehicle Leasing Act, Section 2989.6
The Director of Motor Vehicles may adopt and enforce rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out or implement the provisions of this chapter.
Rules and regulations shall be adopted, amended or repealed in accordance with Chapter 4.5 (commencing with Section 11370) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code.
Notes
Allows the Director of Motor Vehicles to adopt and enforce rules and regulations necessary to carry out or implement the chapter. Requires those rules and regulations, including amendments or repeals, to be adopted under the referenced Administrative Procedure Act provisions governing agency rulemaking.
