The provisions of this article shall not affect any rights or proceedings set forth in Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 1159) of Title 3 of Part 3 of the Code of Civil Procedure except as otherwise provided herein.
Notes
Establishes that the article does not alter rights or proceedings set out in the referenced unlawful-detainer chapter of the Code of Civil Procedure, except where this article otherwise provides. Those incorporated rights and proceedings therefore continue to operate alongside the article subject to any contrary rule stated within it.
