California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 15 — Land Surveyors, Article 5.7 — Reporting Requirements, Section 8776.5

The provisions of this article apply to a civil engineer licensed under Chapter 7 (commencing with Section 6700) prior to January 1, 1982, if the civil action judgment, settlement, or arbitration award relates to the practice of professional land surveying.

Notes

Extends the article’s requirements to a civil engineer licensed under the referenced chapter before January 1, 1982, but only when the civil action judgment, settlement, or arbitration award at issue relates to the practice of professional land surveying. The stated applicability therefore depends on both the engineer’s licensing date and the dispute’s subject.
