On and after January 1, 2000, for the purposes of this chapter, “service contract” also includes a service contract as described in subdivision (e) of Section 12741 of the Insurance Code.
Notes
Extends the chapter’s definition of “service contract,” beginning January 1, 2000, to include a service contract described in the referenced Insurance Code provision. The added definition applies on and after that date, bringing the cross-referenced type of service contract within the chapter’s use of the term.
