This chapter does not apply to an officially appointed agent of an air carrier, ocean carrier or motor coach carrier who purchases or sells tickets in conjunction with a tour package accomplished through the primary event promoter or his or her agent by written agreement.

Exempts an officially appointed agent of an air carrier, ocean carrier, or motor coach carrier from the chapter when the agent purchases or sells tickets in conjunction with a tour package. The exemption applies only when that tour package is accomplished through the primary event promoter or the promoter’s agent by written agreement.
