California CodesBusiness and Professions Code - BPCDivision 8 — Special Business RegulationsChapter 34 — Network SecuritySection 22948.7

The provisions of this chapter are severable. If any provision of this chapter or its application is held invalid, that invalidity shall not affect any other provision or application that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application.

Notes

Establishes that the chapter’s provisions are severable. Allows provisions or applications that can operate independently to remain effective when another provision or application is held invalid, preventing the invalidity from automatically defeating other portions of the chapter that can still be given effect without the invalid part.
