It is unlawful for any person to sell any product as, or purporting to be, gasoline or automotive spark-ignition engine fuel, unless the product conforms to the specifications of this article.

Notes

Prohibits any person from selling a product as gasoline or automotive spark-ignition engine fuel, or representing a product as such fuel, unless the product conforms to the specifications established by the article. The conformity requirement applies both to actual sales and to products purported to be gasoline or automotive spark-ignition engine fuel.
