It is unlawful for any person to sell or deliver to any premises for the purpose of sale, any product as or purported to be “compression-ignition engine fuel,” “diesel fuel,” “kerosene,” or “fuel oil,” unless the product conforms to the specifications of this article.

Notes

Prohibits selling or delivering to premises for sale any product represented as compression-ignition engine fuel, diesel fuel, kerosene, or fuel oil unless that product conforms to the specifications established by the article. The conformity requirement applies both to direct sales and to delivery of covered fuel products intended for later sale.
