No person other than the true manufacturer who purchases any petroleum product shall change the designation under which the product is purchased by him or her, without a written authorization.

Notes

Prohibits anyone other than the true manufacturer who purchases a petroleum product from changing the designation under which that product was purchased without written authorization. The restriction applies to purchasers who are not the true manufacturer and makes written authorization the stated condition for changing the purchased product’s designation.
