The secretary may accept the testing and sealing of weighing and measuring devices by another state upon a finding that the requirements of California for testing and sealing such devices have been met.

Allows the secretary to accept another state’s testing and sealing of weighing and measuring devices after finding that California’s requirements for testing and sealing those devices have been met. The authority permits reliance on out-of-state testing only when the secretary makes the stated equivalency finding, rather than automatically recognizing every device seal issued elsewhere.
