California CodesBusiness and Professions Code - BPCDivision 2 — Healing ArtsChapter 11 — Veterinary MedicineArticle 1 — AdministrationSection 4803

The Governor may, in his judgment, remove any member of the board for neglect of duty or other sufficient cause, after due notice and hearing.

Notes

Allows the Governor, in the Governor's judgment, to remove a member of the veterinary board for neglect of duty or other sufficient cause. Removal may occur only after due notice and a hearing, so the provision gives the Governor removal authority while expressly conditioning its exercise on both a stated basis and those procedural protections.
