Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding six months, or by both.

Notes

Sets a misdemeanor penalty for any person who violates a provision of the chapter, punishable by a fine of up to $1,000, imprisonment in county jail for up to six months, or both. The penalty applies to violations of any provision within the chapter and permits either form of punishment alone or in combination.
