California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 2 — Healing Arts, Chapter 6 — Nursing, Article 7 — Nurse Anesthetists, Section 2833.3

Nothing in this article shall be construed to limit a certified nurse anesthetist’s ability to practice nursing.

Limits the article from being construed to restrict a certified nurse anesthetist's ability to practice nursing. The provision preserves the certified nurse anesthetist's nursing-practice authority while the article separately governs nurse-anesthesia certification and services, preventing the article itself from narrowing that nursing authority.
