Lending his name to be used as attorney by another person who is not an attorney constitutes a cause for disbarment or suspension.

Notes

Establishes lending an attorney’s name for use by another person who is not an attorney as cause for disbarment or suspension. The rule makes an attorney disciplinable for allowing a nonattorney to use the attorney’s name as an attorney, treating that lending of professional identity as a ground for either stated disciplinary consequence.
