Before an individual is granted a funeral director’s license, he or she shall successfully pass an examination upon the following subjects:

(a) The signs of death.

(b) The manner by which death may be determined.

(c) The laws governing the preparation, burial and disposal of human remains, and the shipment of bodies dying from infectious or contagious diseases.

(d) Local health and sanitary ordinances and regulations relating to funeral directing and embalming.

Requires an individual to pass an examination before receiving a funeral director license covering signs and determination of death; laws governing preparation, burial, disposal, and shipment of bodies involving infectious or contagious disease; and local health and sanitary ordinances and regulations concerning funeral directing and embalming.
