California CodesBusiness and Professions Code - BPCDivision 8 — Special Business RegulationsChapter 17 — Invention Development Services ContractsArticle 6 — Miscellaneous ProvisionsSection 22394

If any provision of this act or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held unconstitutional, the remainder of the chapter and the application of such provision to other persons and circumstances shall not be affected thereby.

Notes

Establishes severability if any provision of the act, or its application to a person or circumstance, is held unconstitutional. The remainder of the chapter and application of the affected provision to other persons or circumstances remain unaffected, so the constitutional defect does not invalidate portions capable of continuing independently.
