The Legislature may provide for minimum wages and for the general welfare of employees and for those purposes may confer on a commission legislative, executive, and judicial powers.

Notes

Allows the Legislature to establish minimum wages and measures promoting employees’ general welfare. Allows it, for those purposes, to delegate legislative, executive, and judicial powers to a commission, combining wage and welfare authority with permission to confer functions ordinarily associated with all three governmental branches.
