Prior to January 1, 1994, the Fish and Game Commission shall establish four new ecological reserves in ocean waters along the mainland coast. Each ecological reserve shall have a surface area of at least two square miles. The commission shall restrict the use of these ecological reserves to scientific research relating to the management and enhancement of marine resources.

Requires the Fish and Game Commission, before January 1, 1994, to establish four new ecological reserves in mainland coastal ocean waters. Sets each reserve’s minimum surface area at two square miles and limits use of the reserves to scientific research concerning marine-resource management and enhancement.
