California CodesCalifornia Constitution - CONSArticle X B — Marine Resources Protection Act of 1990Section 16

If any provision of this article or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, that invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this article which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this article are severable.

Notes

Establishes severability for every provision and application contained in the article. If a court holds one provision or its application to a person or circumstance invalid, all other provisions and applications capable of operating without the invalid portion remain effective.
