Notes

Exempts actions or proceedings begun before the Code takes effect, and rights already accrued, from being affected by the Code’s provisions. Requires proceedings in those preexisting matters to conform to the Code’s requirements to the extent applicable, preserving the underlying action, proceeding, or accrued right while applying applicable procedural requirements going forward.
