California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 4 — Obligations Arising from Particular Transactions, Title 4 — Loan, Chapter 7 — Shared Appreciation Loans for Seniors, Article 2 — Terms and Conditions, Section 1917.334

Except as provided in this article, the terms and conditions of the shared appreciation loan for seniors shall be subject to all laws applicable to loans in effect on the date the loan is made.

Notes

Requires the terms and conditions of a shared appreciation loan for seniors to comply with all laws applicable to loans that are in effect on the date the loan is made, except as otherwise provided in the article. The article's own provisions therefore control where they create an exception to those otherwise applicable laws.
