California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 2 — Healing Arts, Chapter 6 — Nursing, Article 2.5 — Nurse-Midwives, Section 2746.3

Midwife’s certificates issued by the Medical Board of California prior to the effective date of this article shall be renewable only by such board.

Notes

Limits renewal of midwife certificates issued by the Medical Board of California before the effective date of the article to renewal by that board only. The rule preserves the Medical Board of California as the sole renewing authority for those previously issued midwife certificates.
