Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no member of an agency designated in subdivision (b) of Section 130 or member of a board, commission, committee, or similarly constituted agency in the department shall serve more than two consecutive full terms.

Notes

Limits members of the specified department agencies, boards, commissions, committees, and similar bodies to no more than two consecutive full terms. The restriction applies notwithstanding other law and addresses consecutive full terms rather than partial terms, nonconsecutive service, appointment procedures, or the duration of an individual term.
