California CodesBusiness and Professions Code - BPCDivision 10 — CannabisChapter 23 — The California Cannabis Equity ActSection 26250

The provisions of this chapter are severable. If any provision of this chapter or its application is held invalid, that invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application.

Notes

Establishes that the cannabis-equity chapter’s provisions are severable. Limits the effect of any judicial holding that a provision or application is invalid by preserving other provisions and applications that can operate without the invalid provision or application, rather than causing the remainder of the chapter to fail with the invalidated portion.
