Criteria for issuing three-year nonrenewable medical licenses and dental permits under this article shall not be utilized at any time as the standard for issuing a license to practice medicine or a permit to practice dentistry in California on a permanent basis.

Notes

Prohibits using the criteria for three-year, nonrenewable medical licenses and dental permits under the article as standards for permanent California medical licensure or dental permits. The temporary-license and permit criteria therefore cannot serve at any time as the qualification standard for a permanent authorization to practice medicine or dentistry in the state.
