Under no circumstances shall a mental health provider engage in sexual orientation change efforts with a patient under 18 years of age.
Notes
Prohibits a mental health provider, under any circumstances, from engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with a patient who is under 18 years of age. The prohibition is absolute as written for covered providers and minor patients and states no consent exception, treatment exception, deadline, or monetary threshold.
