California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 2 — Healing Arts, Chapter 10.5 — Massage Therapy Act, Section 4616

The council shall be sued only in the county of its principal office, which shall be in Sacramento, unless otherwise designated by the council.

Notes

Requires lawsuits against the massage council to be brought only in the county where its principal office is located. The principal office is in Sacramento unless the council designates another location, so the proper county follows the council’s designated principal office.
