California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 2 — Healing Arts, Chapter 10.5 — Massage Therapy Act, Section 4621
(a) This chapter shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2030, and as of that date is repealed.
(b) Notwithstanding any other law, the powers and duties of the council shall be subject to review by the appropriate policy committees of the Legislature.

Sets January 1, 2030, as the date through which the massage chapter remains in effect and provides that the chapter is repealed on that date. Notwithstanding other law, the council's powers and duties are subject to review by the appropriate policy committees of the Legislature.
