It is an unfair business practice within the meaning of Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 17200) of Part 2 of Division 7, for a person to use the title “Board Certified Music Therapist” if they do not meet the requirements of Section 4654.

Prohibits a person from using the title “Board Certified Music Therapist” unless that person meets the requirements identified in the referenced provision. Use of the title without meeting those referenced requirements constitutes an unfair business practice under the stated unfair-competition chapter, making compliance with the referenced qualifications a condition of using the title.
