A psychiatric technician, working in a mental health facility or developmental disability facility, when prescribed by a licensed physician and surgeon, may administer medications by hypodermic injection.

Allows a psychiatric technician working in a mental health facility or developmental disability facility to administer medications by hypodermic injection when a licensed physician and surgeon prescribes that administration. The authority is limited to technicians working in those specified facilities and depends on the required physician prescription.
