California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 2 — Healing Arts, Chapter 11 — Veterinary Medicine, Article 3 — Issuance of Licenses, Section 4854.5
(a) Every off-campus educational program site shall display in a conspicuous place a consumer notification specifying that the veterinary facilities are also being used for diagnosis and treatment of animals by graduate students enrolled in a veterinary medicine program.
(b) Notwithstanding Section 4831, or any other provision of law, a violation of subdivision (a) shall not be a crime.
Notes
Requires every off-campus veterinary educational program site to conspicuously display a consumer notice stating that its veterinary facilities are also used by graduate veterinary-medicine students for animal diagnosis and treatment. Notwithstanding the referenced provision or other law, violating this notification requirement is expressly not a crime.
