A person engages in the practice of marriage and family therapy when he or she performs or offers to perform or holds himself or herself out as able to perform this service for remuneration in any form, including donations.

Notes

Defines practicing marriage and family therapy to include performing the service, offering to perform it, or representing oneself as able to perform it for remuneration in any form. Compensation includes donations, so a person receiving or seeking donations for such services falls within the defined practice activity.
