Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six months, or by a fine not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500), or by both.

Notes

Sets violation of any provision of the marriage-and-family-therapy chapter as a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in county jail, a fine of up to $2,500, or both imprisonment and the fine. The stated criminal penalty applies to any person who violates a provision of the chapter.
