The State Board of Chiropractic Examiners shall investigate any licensee against whom an information or indictment has been filed that alleges a violation of Section 550 of the Penal Code or Section 1871.4 of the Insurance Code, if the district attorney does not otherwise object to initiating an investigation.

Requires the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners to investigate a licensee when an information or indictment alleges a violation of the specified Penal Code or Insurance Code provisions. The investigation duty applies unless the district attorney objects to initiating the investigation, making prosecutorial objection the stated exception to the board’s mandatory investigation.
