The board may deny an application to take an examination for licensure as a dentist or dental auxiliary or an application for registration as a dental corporation, or, at any time prior to licensure, the board may deny the issuance of a license to an applicant for licensure as a dentist or dental auxiliary, if the applicant has been convicted of a crime or subject to formal discipline pursuant to Section 480.

Notes

Allows the board to deny an application for a dentist or dental-auxiliary licensing examination, an application to register a dental corporation, or issuance of a dentist or dental-auxiliary license at any time before licensure when the applicant has a criminal conviction or has been subject to formal discipline under the referenced provision.
