The appointing power may remove any member of the board for neglect of duty required by this chapter, incompetency, or unprofessional conduct.

Notes

Allows the authority that appointed a Medical Board member to remove that member for neglect of duties required by the chapter, incompetency, or unprofessional conduct. The removal authority belongs to the appointing authority and may be exercised when any of those three stated grounds applies to the member.
