In order to ensure the continuing competence of persons licensed to practice podiatric medicine, the board shall adopt and administer regulations requiring continuing education of those licensees.

Requires the board to adopt and administer regulations mandating continuing education for persons licensed to practice podiatric medicine. The continuing-education requirement is expressly directed toward ensuring the continuing competence of those podiatric licensees and must be implemented through board regulations.
