A person who has been convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Section 2052, prior to the effective date of this article, shall not be barred from licensure under this article solely because of that conviction.

Notes

Exempts a person from being barred from licensure under the article solely because, before the article’s effective date, the person was convicted of a misdemeanor violation of the referenced section. The conviction, standing alone, cannot disqualify the person from licensure under the article when it predates that effective date.
