(a) There is in the Department of Consumer Affairs a Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians of the State of California, which consists of 11 members.

(b) As used in this chapter, “board” means the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians of the State of California.

(c) This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2029, and as of that date is repealed.

Notes

Establishes an 11-member Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians of the State of California within the Department of Consumer Affairs and defines “board” in the chapter to mean that board. Sets the provision to remain effective only until January 1, 2029, when it is repealed.
