This chapter does not prohibit the performance of nursing services by any person not licensed under this chapter; provided, that such person shall not in any way assume to practice as a licensed vocational nurse.

Notes

Allows a person who is not licensed under the chapter to perform nursing services, despite the chapter’s licensure provisions. Prohibits that unlicensed person from assuming in any way to practice as a licensed vocational nurse, preserving the ability to provide nursing services only so long as the person does not claim or undertake licensed-vocational-nurse practice.
