None of the provisions of this chapter shall be applicable to any school or schools conducted by any well recognized church or denomination for the purpose of training the adherents of such church or denomination in the care of the sick in accordance with its religious tenets.

Exempts schools conducted by a well-recognized church or denomination to train adherents in caring for the sick according to that church’s or denomination’s religious tenets from the chapter’s provisions. Establishes that religious-school exemption for qualifying institutions based on who conducts the school and the religious purpose and manner of the training.
