Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six months, or by a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars ($2,000), or by both.

Notes

Sets a misdemeanor penalty for any person who violates a provision of the chapter. Allows punishment by county-jail imprisonment for no more than six months, a fine of no more than $2,000, or both the stated imprisonment and fine upon conviction.
