Pursuant to Section 106, each appointing authority has the power to remove from office, at any time, any member of the board appointed by that authority under Section 2703 for continued neglect of duties required by law, or for incompetence, or unprofessional or dishonorable conduct.

Notes

Allows each appointing authority, under the referenced removal power, to remove any board member appointed by that authority at any time for continued neglect of legally required duties, incompetence, or unprofessional or dishonorable conduct. The removal authority is limited to the appointing authority's own appointees and the specified grounds.
