A pharmacy may accept the return of needles and syringes from the public if contained in a sharps container, as defined in Section 117750 of the Health and Safety Code.
Notes
Allows a pharmacy to accept needles and syringes returned by members of the public when the returned items are contained in a sharps container as defined by the referenced Health and Safety Code provision. Acceptance is authorized for public returns of needles and syringes that meet that sharps-container condition.
