Every person licensed, registered, or designated under this chapter, who in the course of his or her employment carries tear gas, or any other nonlethal chemical agent, shall complete the course required pursuant to Section 22835 of the Penal Code.

Notes

Requires every person licensed, registered, or designated under the chapter who carries tear gas or another nonlethal chemical agent during employment to complete the course required by Penal Code Section 22835. The training requirement applies when the person carries either listed type of chemical agent in the course of employment.
