California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 11 — Repossessors, Article 10 — Disciplinary Proceedings, Section 7510
Except as otherwise required to comply with the provisions of this chapter, the proceedings under this article shall be conducted in accordance with Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 11500) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code, and the director shall have all the powers granted therein.
Notes
Requires proceedings under the article to follow the cited Government Code administrative-procedure chapter, except where compliance with this chapter requires otherwise. The director receives all powers granted under that administrative framework, while the express carve-out preserves any different procedure necessary to comply with the specific provisions of this chapter.
