A person shall not engage in the business of, act in the capacity of, or advertise or assume to act as, a cemetery broker or cemetery salesperson in this state without first obtaining a license from the bureau.

Prohibits a person from engaging in the business of, acting in the capacity of, advertising as, or assuming to act as a cemetery broker or cemetery salesperson in California without first obtaining a bureau license. The licensing requirement applies before any of those business, representative, or advertising activities may occur.
