Every application for a funeral director’s license under this article shall be granted or refused within ninety days from the date of the filing of the application or within thirty days after the close of the hearing upon the application, in case a hearing is held.

Notes

Requires every funeral-director license application to be granted or refused within 90 days after filing. If a hearing is held on the application, the decision must instead be made within 30 days after the hearing closes, establishing separate decision deadlines depending on whether the application proceeds without or with a hearing.
