The bureau shall not grant an original cemetery broker’s license to any person who is not a resident of this state. Change of residence to another state shall terminate the license.

Notes

Prohibits the bureau from granting an original cemetery-broker license to a person who is not a California resident. Requires an existing cemetery-broker license to terminate when the licensee changes residence to another state, making continuing California residence an express condition of both original issuance and continued licensure.
