No embalmer’s license is assignable, and only the licensee may engage in the practice of embalming under the license.

Notes

Prohibits assignment of an embalmer’s license and limits practice under that license to the individual licensee. The provision makes the credential personal and nontransferable, barring another person from using it to practice embalming, and states no exception, transfer procedure, grace period, or alternative authorization within the text.
